We hope you all had a wonderful and relaxing summer break!
As we welcome a new school year, it is also time to register your children for our BSYV (Bhasha, Samskara, Yoga and Vedanta) sessions at Shraddha Bhoomi.

Our BSYV education program for children aims to nurture their physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual growth from an early age. Through engaging activities, learning languages, values, and Vedanta, we hope to help our children grow with confidence, awareness, and a strong connection to their cultural roots.

SAMSKARA CURRICULUM 2026-27
ABODHA — 5-8 years: moral stories, teach about festivals- Rathayatra, Janmashtami, Shivaratri, Durga Puja, Holi, Ganesh Chaturthi, Saraswati Puja, Diwali , Ram Navami along with the description of the deities
BALYA — 9-12 years:
Introduce Srimad Bhagawatam with moral teachings from Bhagawat stories
KISHORA — 13+: First nine chapters of Bhagavad Gita
Like every year all kids will be given Mantras and Shlokas every week
BENGALI CURRICULUM 2026-27
Our Bengali class focuses on building conversational skills, learning basic grammar and vocabulary, and includes cultural elements to connect us with our heritage.
Conversational Bengali - Will prioritize speaking and listening skills through interactive lessons, games, and real-life scenarios.
Basic Grammar and Vocabulary- Will introduce fundamental grammatical concepts and a core set of Bengali words relevant to everyday life.
Cultural Immersion- Will incorporate Bengali stories, festivals, and discussions about traditions and foods to foster a connection with the culture.
Reading and Writing- Will gradually introduce the Bengali alphabets and numbers and basic reading and writing skills as the child progresses.
Age-Appropriate Materials- We will utilize age-appropriate learning materials, including picture books, interactive games, and age-specific online resources.
Fun and Engaging Activities- Will incorporate games, songs, storytelling, and other interactive activities to make learning enjoyable and effective.
ODIA CURRICULUM 2026-27
Varnamala & Mantras - Learning the full Odia varnamala (alphabet) with matras — both reading and writing.(abodha,Balya,Kishore group). Reference: Odia Varnabodh book.
Reading Practice - Abodha Group: Word reading exercises. Balya & Kishore Groups: Passages and short stories.
Odia Speaking Skills- Conversational practice to build fluency.
Cultural Recitation- Learning and reciting common Odia prayers and songs.
Interactive Activities- Storytelling sessions. Pictionary-style games to make learning fun.
HINDI CURRICULUM 2026-27
Beginners- Students will learn Hindi alphabets, build vocabulary, and practice basic conversations through rhymes, games, and stories.
Intermediate- Students will follow the NCERT curriculum, explore Indian culture through Hindi stories, and develop conversational skills.
Advanced learners- Students ill continue with the NCERT curriculum, begin exploring poems by renowned poets like Harivansh Rai Bachchan and Meera Bai, and enhance their spoken Hindi.
