We at Jagannath Hindu Temple of Rosenberg(JHT) in collaboration with Universal Shraddha Foundation(USF) cordially invite all the devotees with their family and friends to join us in chanting Srimad Bhagavad Gita in our Akhanda Gita Patha program.
Details are on the flyer and schedule given below. We also encourage all the kids to participate in the Gita chanting competitionorganised on this occasion to develop awareness amongst them about the eternal life building values and character making teachings for ultimate happiness in their life.
Kindly register. Breakfast and Lunch Prasad will be served for all. Please feel free to share the information among your friends and other community members.
Gita Chanting Competition for the kids

Groups:( 4-7yr, 8-12 yr, 13-18yr)
(All participants will be given prizes. Special prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each group )
Gita Verses:
Sankhya Yoga verses 54-69
Rules:
1) all kids are encouraged to memorize the verses. But if it is difficult, they can chant from the book
2) 13-18 year olds are encouraged to explain the meaning and learning points after the chanting
3) Any number of verses are okay to chant and memorize even if they can not complete
(Participation prize will be given even if they chant 1 verse )
